I understand the political reality of no garbage collection on MLK Day — he was in Memphis for a sanitation workers’ strike — but the mid-winter angle always begs for trouble. Trouble hit this year.
Monday’s day off was followed by Tuesday’s questionable “snow day” for multi-ton garbage trucks, which meant yesterday was catch-up day and that did not happen. So my recyclables sit on the curb for a third straight day.
