That is the message the Charlotte city council sent you last night.
City Manager Curt Walton is shameless, Edwin Peacock clueless.
Oh, and check out that Walton was getting about $10,000 in expense allowances above his $200K base salary. Now his cash compensation is up to $235K a year. Still no idea what his retirement and health care benefits add to that total.
But no matter. Work harder. Ours is not to reason why.
