N.C. Rep. Thomas Wright, D-New Hanover, has decided to invoke his Fifth Amendment right not to testify in the N.C. Board of Elections hearing into his campaign finances.
After Wright’s lawyer announced that decision a few minutes ago, the elections board placed chief investigator Kim Strach on the stand.
