Wright’s in Denial, the Caucus’ a’Callin’

Wright went on the record (but declined to be taped) with Matt Willoughby that he will not resign.

Alma Adams (D-Guilford) told Willoughby that the Leg. Black Caucus is very upset with Hackney. They prefer for the process (Legislative Ethics Committee and the District Attorney) take care of it.

As I understand it, Easley and Beverly Perdue are calling for Wright’s resignation, now.

Wright is in the building and is expected to be in Session today.

There could be fireworks on the floor.

The Dems are a’flutter.
