The Henderson County Partnership for Economic Development recognized Don Hallingse, who does PR work for PSNC Energy, as Partner of the Year. The award is given for creating or retaining jobs in Henderson County.
Hallingse has played a major leadership role in HCPED trips to Raleigh to elevate the presence of the organization, in addition to hosting and sponsoring luncheons with the N.C. Commerce Department, N.C. Community College System and other leaders in the state capital, said HCPED Board Chairman Tom Cooper, who presented the award.
PSNC also provided financial support for renovations when HCPED moved its headquarters.
