I went to Kerr Drug Store and saw something I hadn’t seen in a while. Kerr used to be a normal store. Then, they went all hippie and started selling only green, organic junk food, shampoo, etc. I stopped going there until tonight, when I was looking for some green, organic junk food. Much to my delight, I found the store had gone back to selling normal-people stuff. The moral of the story, and the reason for my praise, is the people in charge are analyzing demand and trying to stay in business by adapting. This is in contrast to the “new normal” of deciding to sell something and turning to government for subsidies if nobody wants to buy it.
