I believe the new student body president at N.C. Central was thinking “customer friendly” when he described the new Eagle Accountability Database for the News & Observer:
“We’re trying to find the teachers who are most friendly to students.”
Regardless of his intent, the sentence made me wince. Few of my best teachers were particularly friendly.
