The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners is expected to a approve an ordinance to commit $17 million to build a new home for a combined SciWorks and Children’s Museum.
The new combined museum will be on the site of the former downtown sheriff’s office. The county will continue to own the land and will lease to the museum. The $17 million will come from asset sales.
