Mrs Clinton–While you and your opponent disagree on certain particulars of how public policies should be implemented, when it comes to basic principles regarding the role of government in areas like health care, higher education, business regulation, wealth distribution and taxation you and your opponent seem to be in almost complete agreement. Could you tell our audience, is this because you are a socialist or because Bernie Sanders, in reality, isn’t one.

I also would like to have seen the same question posed to Bernie.

Senator Sanders–While you and your opponent disagree on certain particulars of how public policies should be implemented, when it comes to basic principles regarding the role of government in areas like health care, higher education, business regulation, wealth distribution and taxation you and your opponent seem to be in almost complete agreement. Could you tell our audience, is this because she is a socialist or because you, in reality, aren’t one.

That would have been a fun question to hear their answers to.
