Most of the attention given to the upcoming Supreme Court battle over Obamacare has focused on the constitutionality of the insurance mandate, but there is much more to abhor in that mountain of legislation/regulation, especially the Independent Payment Advisory Board. The statists who are cheering for Obamacare are much like the unfortunate people in Russia in 1917. They were told that Lenin’s revolution would ensure that everyone would be well fed. They were enthusiastic about tearing down the system under the czars and replacing it with enlightened control by commissars.
Within a few years, there was mass starvation, but it was too late to un-do Lenin’s revolution.
