As we read in this Reason post, the Attorney General of Washington is taking legal action against a florist who declined to provide flowers for a gay wedding.
Buyers are free to decide with whom they will do business, but evidently sellers (at least sellers of flowers) are not. That legal asymmetry is wrong. And shouldn’t the attorney general be busy pursuing people who have actually done harm, rather than simply saying “no”?
