John Gizzi reports for Human Events that former Republican Florida Gov. Charlie Crist — who became an independent in an unsuccessful U.S. Senate bid last year — might re-emerge as a Democrat to pursue a U.S. House seat next year.

I mention this mainly as a convenient excuse to remind you again that the man who beat Crist in that Senate race, freshman U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, recently delivered his first major foreign policy address at Wingate University.
