Responding to an article in the New Republic online that misrepresented his recent book, Free Choice for Workers: A History of the Right to Work Movement, George corrects the author’s characterization of his book as a conservative view of business. He’s just pro individual choice and anti union-coercion. In a similar vein, Daren Bakst, speaking to North Carolina’s decision to look into regulating gasoline as a public utility, is unequivocally against moving in that direction.  By giving the control of price to the state, Daren portents a decrease in competition to the detriment of consumers.  Another example of regulation from on high is the accreditation system for American colleges and universities.  In The Journal of the James Madison Institute, George outlines (.pdf) the emergence of the system and its inability to ensure quality academic standards.
