As the Republican presidential nomination process moves forward, media outlets continue to turn to John Locke Foundation President John Hood for expert analysis. Hood previewed the Super Tuesday primary elections during his latest appearance with Bill LuMaye on WPTF Radio, and a Charlotte Observer blog cited Hood’s column on the “math behind Mitt.” The Observer also quoted Hood for an article about former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney’s struggle to connect with Southern Republican voters. N.C. Senate Republicans promoted this week Hood’s columns on Romney, political cooperation,  prekindergarten education funding, and performance pay for teachers. Watchdog.org also publicized the performance pay column. The Statesville Record & Landmark promoted Hood’s speech Saturday for the Iredell County Republican Party’s 2012 Reagan Day dinner.
