The John Locke Foundation’s efforts to encourage more online transparency among government agencies stepped up a notch with this week’s unveiling of NCTransparency.com. The Asheville Citizen-Times took note of the new Web site’s ratings of western N.C. communities, while the News & Observer‘s education blog also highlighted the new site.
