The Charlotte Observer, News & Observer, and Greensboro News & Record all published an article this week quoting John Locke Foundation President John Hood‘s analysis of Republican U.S. Senate candidate Greg Brannon’s controversial comments about his own party’s 2012 presidential nominee. The Charlotte Observer and News & Observer also interviewed Hood for a profile of Senate candidate Mark Harris. N&O columnist Peder Zane cited Hood when discussing the impact of election map gerrymandering by both Democratic- and Republican-led North Carolina legislatures.
N.C. Senate Republicans promoted Hood’s columns during the past week on the 2014 legislative election outlook, the history of liberal complaints about a Republican North Carolina governor, and the Read to Achieve law’s troubled implementation.
