Last Friday, Lindalyn Kakadelis was a guest on WTKF’s “The Lockwood Phillips Show.” The two discussed the No Child Left Behind law, the failed legislative effort to deconsolidate Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, and the low high school graduation rate. On Saturday, Kakadelis addressed the same issues, as well as homeschooling, when she spoke to the North Carolina Federation of Republican Women on the state of education in North Carolina. Meantime, a Carolina Journa story by Donna Martinez, which showcased two homeschool families, was picked up by the Charlotte World earlier this month.
