Jeffrey Moss, the superintendent of Lee County schools, seems to have no regrets for ordering students in Tramwell Elementary School to write their representatives in Raleigh, urging them not to adopt the GOP budget. One of the students engaged in this civic exercise was the 8-year-old daughter of Republican state Rep. Mike Stone, and Stone objected to the use of his daughter as unwilling lobbyist.

“Dr.” Moss apparently has a thin skin, too, as evidenced by this exchange with a member of the public, offered below. Read from the bottom, and notice the not-so-subtle threat at the end of the message from Moss.

BONUS OBSERVATION: The attorney for Lee County schools is former Rep. Jimmy Love, a Democrat who lost to Stone in 2010.
