The News & Observer‘s “Under The Dome” blog highlighted Hood’s recent arguments in favor of reforming North Carolina’s public assistance programs.

N.C. Senate Republicans promoted Hood’s column on public policies that promote growth, along with Carolina Journal Associate Editor Dan Way‘s articles on bills targeting North Carolina’s renewable energy mandate and opportunity scholarships for low-income students. The Senate GOP also highlighted Associate Editor Barry Smith‘s report on a taxpayer-funded program that has helped thousands of unemployed North Carolinians live in their houses with no mortgage payments for up to three years.

The Mooresville Tribune published Becki Gray’s recent column on lawmakers tackling legislation designed to promote economic recovery. NCPoliticalNews.com promoted Gray’s column on tax reform.
