A unanimous three-judge panel of the N.C. Court of Appeals affirmed this morning a lower court’s ruling favoring the N.C. Department of Transportation in a battle over the Winston-Salem Northern Beltway. The ruling denies property owners’ attempt to pursue a class-action suit against DOT in connection with the road.
In another opinion released this morning, a unanimous three-judge panel affirmed a lower-court ruling favoring Nags Head in its dispute with oceanfront property owners over a one-time beach nourishment project over a 10-mile stretch of coastline affecting their properties.
