Americans for Prosperity is launching a new ad campaign in North Carolina and other states that highlights the president’s assertion that the private sector is “doing fine.”

“President Obama fiddles while our economy burns. As our new shows, the President is out of touch with the economic challenges facing taxpayers,” said AFP-NC State Director President Dallas Woodhouse. “What Obama doesn’t want you to know is that it is his very policies that have most hampered recovery.”

Titled Doing Fine, the new ad begins airing today and will run for ten days in North Carolina and five other states: Colorado, Florida, Nevada, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Doing Fine calls on President Obama to support the AFP Jobs Agenda, which encompasses a number of policies proven to support a vibrant economy and job creation.

This latest ad effort brings the total amount AFP has spent in recent months educating on President Obama’s disastrous policies up to approximately $20 million since last fall. The ad buy in North Carolina is approximately $1 million.

In addition to this major ad buy, AFP will be conducting grassroots events to help educate people about the true state of the private sector economy in North Carolina.

“North Carolinians want the President to stop attacking job creators and get government out of the way,” continued Woodhouse. “We hope President Obama will take a lesson from the school of hard knocks, reverse course, and promote the policies of prosperity and economic freedom.”
