Cline argued it’s wrong for the city to buck the free market and consider putting a cap on the price private property owners can charge for parking spots near the stadium. The next day – the 10th anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing by Timothy McVeigh – he wrote on the web site of The American Spectator that the news media maintains its interest in “right-wing crazies” but ignores the left-wing ones. “According to its files,” Cline wrote,” as the Baltimore Sun reported on Sunday, fully 22 of the 25 terrorist attacks inside the United States since 2003 are believed to have been the work of environmental extremists.” The piece was picked up and discussed by Rush Limbaugh.
