Meanwhile, Gray spoke to a state employees group and the High Point Rotary Club about state government, recent legislative action, and the stakes in the 2010 elections. Gray heads to Randolph County for a Tea Party presentation Saturday. She’ll also join Carl Lamm on WTSB Radio this afternoon. Daren Bakst, Director of Legal and Regulatory Studies, also hit the road this week to discuss eminent domain reform with the Central Carolina Forestry Club in Southern Pines. Mitch Kokai will serve as moderator Saturday for Cary’s Citizen Diplomacy Summit 2010. The Rocky Mount Telegram provided coverage this week of N.C. History Project Director Troy Kickler‘s recent presentation on the state and federal constitutions to a Daughters of the American Revolution chapter. In other news, the History Project and Jesse Helms Center collaborated on a new report and public presentation on the bonds between the late U.S. Sen. Helms and Russian author and staunch anti-communist Alexander Solzhenitsyn. The Acton Institute’s “Powerblog” promoted the new report.
