Game Change won four Emmys last night, including, Outstanding Writing for a Miniseries, Movie or a Dramatic Special (Danny Strong), Outstanding Lead Actress In A Miniseries Or A Movie (Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin), Outstanding Directing For A Miniseries, Movie Or A Dramatic Special (Jay Roach), and Outstanding Miniseries or Movie.  I like what Deadline Hollywood’s Nikki Finke had to say about the wins:

No surprise that this political movie mocking Sarah Palin wins two of left-wing Hollywood’s biggest prizes. Now I’m a knee-jerk liberal, and even so it was clear to me this hatchet job couldn’t have been unfairer in tone.

On a positive note, Game Change did not receive a film incentive from North Carolina.
