Who: Byron York is White House correspondent for National Review. He is also author of The Vast Left Wing Conspiracy, a book that examined the role the newly energized Left played in the 2004 presidential election.
York’s reporting has covered: election campaigns; battles over judicial nominations; the war on terrorism and the anti-war movement; and the business histories of the president, vice president, and their Democratic critics.
He is also a weekly columnist for The Hill, a newspaper about Congress. His articles have appeared in the Atlantic Monthly, Wall Street Journal, The Weekly Standard, and The American Spectator. He has appeared on Meet the Press, Special Report with Brit Hume, Hardball, The O’Reilly Factor, and other television programs and has contributed occasional commentaries to National Public Radio.
