In an op-ed recently published in the Baltimore Sun, law professors Rena Steinzor and Amy Sinden argue that Obama should use “executive orders that direct various agencies of the government to move on particular items within tight deadlines.”  Those “particular items” include an array of environmental regulations that, the authors say, would give President Obama a “second-term bonanza of progress for a president who faces obstinate opposition in Congress.”
