Chad Adams traveled to Wilmington Tuesday to meet with New Hanover County’s financial officer, waste management official, and a commissioner about research on the last remaining incinerator in the state and the policy debate over whether it should be continued or terminated. Meantime, Kakadelis hosted a booth at the North Carolina Christian School conference, where she networked with educators about school choice and the importance of grassroots activism in moving the agenda forward. Kakadelis and other staff members spent Thursday and Friday in Charleston, where they attended a meeting of state think tanks.
