Chad Adams hit the road again this week as the keynote speaker for the
FreedomWorks 2005 tour, which is profiled here on the national web site of FreedomWorks. The jam-packed schedule began Monday afternoon
when he appeared on WWNC’s “Matt Mittan Show” to publicize upcoming
tour stops in the western part of the state. That night he spoke about
property rights and taxes to a packed crowd of 60 activists and
candidates in Franklin. Then he headed to Waynesville for a morning
talk with business owners and activists. Lunch was in Asheville, with
another healthy size group. Among the guests in Asheville was WZNN
morning talk show host Bill Fishburne. Next, Adams headed down the
mountain for a joint meeting of folks from Forsyth and Guilford
counties. About 50 people, including county commissioners and
candidates for seats in Winston-Salem and Greensboro, attended the
event in Colfax. On Thursday, Adams stopped in Marion for a large
gathering of activists from western parts of the state.
