Following hours of debate on Tuesday from House prosecutors and defense attorneys representing former President Donald Trump, the U.S. Senate voted 56 – 44 that trying Mr. Trump is constitutional. The 56 votes included six Republican senators. They are:
* Bill Cassidy – Louisiana
* Susan Collins – Maine
* Lisa Murkowski – Alaska
* Ben Sasse – Nebraska
* Mitt Romney – Utah
* Pat Toomey – Pennsylvania
