Attorney General Eric Holder has announced that he is going to sue North Carolina over it’s Voter ID law, alleging that it is clearly an attempt to keep black people from voting. Now, everyone with a grain of common sense knows that’s not true. Just check out this video of our black president being asked, by a black poll worker, for ID as he votes in Chicago. I don’t recall Holder grandstanding about that bit of obvious racism.

But we here at Carolina Journal, who have long memories, think we know the real reason Holder wants North Carolina’s Voter ID law overturned. Turns out, as we reported last year, that his brother, William Holder, owns with his wife four McDonald’s restaurants in our state. And our investigation revealed that these restaurants regularly employ illegal immigrants. Could it be that the attorney general wants his brother’s illegal immigrant employees to be able to vote in an important state like ours.

Hmmmmmm.
