In the Fordham Institute’s new study, America’s Best (And Worst) Cities for School Choice, authors Priscilla Wohlstetter and Dara Zeehandelaar rank 30 U.S. cities using measures of political support, policy environment, and the quality and quantity of school choice in each jurisdiction.
Overall, Charlotte ranked 27th out of the 30 cities selected, making it one of America’s worst cities for school choice. Pittsburgh (go Steelers!), Austin, and Albany round out the basement dwellers.
