In NC, the state government does heavy lifting in K-12 education

The National Center for Education Statistics just released The Condition of Education 2018, and I plan to post a bunch of stuff from the report.

The first is state revenues for K-12 education as a percentage of total public school revenues.  Please note that the data are from 2015.

Well, lookie here!  The North Carolina General Assembly supplies a higher percentage of funding than any other state in the Southeast.  And only a handful of states have a higher percentage of state funds than North Carolina.
